Hell, Uncle Al even cracks a smile as he delivers his
critical line. I laughed myself silly. What does it take for you
to realize it's a joke? A pratfall?
Daft? Just compare Molly Ivins to Anne Coulter.
Do you really find it funny to kick people in the groin, then hit them
with chairs and bottles? I suppose the Hillside Strangler may have
smiled as he choked young ladies.
It's sad that Al has run so dry of ideas that he has to imitate bad
Eric Siegel movies.
And speaking of that, why do oldish liberals seem to run to fat?

I find Molly Ivins funny... in fact I find all leftist weenies
funny... it's just hilarious how they "think".
I'm listening to "Uncle Al" on Air America right this minute...
nothing quite like a hollow-head to create a chuckle.
You have a much stronger stomach than I. ...or are more of a masochist.
Franken is an idiot. If you want some intelligent listening, try Bill
Bennett (now watch the leftist liars scream!).
Al's salient feature is his fatheaded self-absorbtion. When the
writers on Saturday Night Live could script him to make fun of
himself, it was amusing. When he scripts himself, and takes himself
seriously, he's just annoying. Compare him to Woody Allen (even though
he doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same room): Woody has always
been neurotic and self-absorbed, but he still makes fun of himself, so
he remains funny.
