CTEK MXS Polar charger and AGM VRLA battery

Hello, I have this CTEK Polar charger

The CTEK list the COLD modes for this charger.

Where is the AGM option? In warm weather I do not need 15V !

Manual lists the COLD mode that the voltage is up to 15.00v but most small VRLA 12v AGM batteries like YUASA NP12-12 are listed for 14.5 Volts not 15.00 volts.


Questions:

1. What mode should be used for VRLA/AGM UPS battery.
2. Can recondition be used for these batteries.

Ambient temperature -30°C to +50°C, output power is reduced automatically at high temperatures

So you say 15V is reached only in cold temperatures?
It is possible to hear the boiling of electrolyte the voltage was 14.8v (charging was at 21 deg c)
But somehow the charger gets stuck (I waited for ~12hrs) at step 4 if I enable snowflake mode on battery I mentioned above. After I turned snowflake off the battery was charged in an hour.

I then discharged the battery and charged again using normal mode (for small battery), charging finished without being stuck for 12hrs on step 4. So what I'm doing wrong here?

I would ask CTEK but they huge company no direct email support available, only distributors. Most of them never replied to my emails. The ones that did reply wrote nonsense.

I don't say. I don't know what "output power is reduced automatically at high temperatures" means in reality.
I have no experience with this charger, sorry.
