Hi All,
I hope you good people can enlighten me on this,
I find capacitors fascinating, the more I find out about them the more questions arise,
Lets say I have a basic capacitor with two conductive parallel plates,
inbetween them I have multi-layer dielectrics of different types:
########### conductive plate
--------------- Dielectric layer 1 with d constant k
========= Dielectric layer 2 with d constant k1
+++++++++ Dielectric layer 3 with d constant k2
########### conductive plate
Will it even function as a capacitor? if so what effect does that have on the overall capacitance?
Many thanks.
