Perhaps. Can you take a clear, will focused image of the device that we can read the markings on?

I'll take your word for it, but that image is to small and poorly focused for us to tell.

Looks like you have 4 other of the same / like items lined on down your board from that one.

It is one of the ST family’s line of ACS-108-6SN solid state TRIAC switches with bipolar varistor buffered outputs.

Do you know which one of these functions are inoperative on your unit ?

They are being:

DOOR LOCK

COLD WATER VALVE

HOT WATER VALVE

PRE-WASH WATER VALVE

PUMP


If any degree of uncertainty . . . . Their derived logic activations come from the drive outputs of the nearby central U005 u/p with its 11 pins on each side, for its 44 pins total.

Thanks de Edd it seems it is the one as the machine is swiching on but not continuing the program or tacking water
 
Three water valves . . . . you can monitor each ( or ALL of the gates of all of them) to confirm if drive is getting to them, if so, the water solenoids should be activated by their respective drivers.

I have an Ivensys 475560 board with a blown resistor.
It is marked as L003 on the PCB and sits immediately below capacitors C022 and C023.
Sadly, it was too badly damaged for the local shop to identify resistance.
Can anyone help identify this resistor for me please, so I can locate and solder a new one on.

If it's marked L (as opposed to R) then it is an inductor, not a resistor.

Post a photo with enough detail that we can read all the markings.

Hi Steve.
I have just been reading through this forum some more and found what I needed.
It is a choke, and there were pics of the board already loaded in the forum which helped me too.
I appreciate the help you talented guys provide.

Well . . . . . if you look and see if one of its lead ends is connected to the + of C022 and the other lead is connected to the + end of C023, you indeed have found L003.
Furthermore, if it ohms out as being an open circuit; you are in need of another L003 which is a 470 uh series HF filter inductor that carries power thru it to feed the power FET that is built within the LNK304PN . . .U002 . . .
That is a complete “ Switch Mode power supply electronics within a chip “.

Track down my drawn in power loop of incoming AC line voltage and rectification and filtering and finally feeding to the Drain of the internal FET of U002 and exiting out thru its Source and then grounding.

OHM out the complete marked up GREEN ARROW path / loop, part by part and I think that you will find a crowbarred D-S junction within the FET at its pins 5 to 1-2. Or, at least, for a short period of time, it was.

Check out “old Blue” . . . .? . . . . to see if it is not pooched out or burnt.

The weakest link in that series of parts is L003 and upon encountering a full 325VDC being immediately put across it, it said , . . . . . @#$%&! . . . . . and was OUTTA THERE !

Can you handle it from here ?
