Where can I get the Student edition of PSpice?

hello..

This may seem like a silly question, but:
Where can I find the student ed. of PSpice? There's no link to it at
www.cadence.com or www.orcadpcb.com , and the google searches gave me a link
(http://lhw.ufsc.br) that has a bad file (downloaded once, bad CRC, redone the
download with GetRight, again bad CRC! damn!). Other sites also link to the
cadence.com site which is confusing. I can't find it anywhere!

Try "version" in your search instead of "edition" They sent me one,
so try that. Get Right is kinda flakey, at least it was on Winders
98 and you may want to check for spyware, too. GoZilla was spyware,
can't remember if Get Right was.

Do another Google search for PSpice Student and find a different ftp
site. There are a lot of them out there that have the download. The
Cadence site doesn't have it anymore because it is too old to use
anymore as an effective sales tool (it is version 9.1+, and the current
version for sale is 10.0.) While there are rumors of a newer version
being produced, it will only have Capture available as a front end, and
no one has actually seen it, yet.

I found it now.

GetRight isn't spyware anymore, and I've redone the download using "wget"
(command-line download manager, http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net).

Update: I tried to do the download again from other source. The file still gave a
CRC error at data1.cab. DAMN!!!

I am doing again the download with other ISP. Seems to be going really fast
(~4.5kb/s). Wish good luck.

This is the first place I tried and started the CRC-error chain. Oddly enough,
other files from the site seem to work fine. I am trying the download again. Hope
it works.

Well, if it doesn't work, just submit a request for the CD. They
sent mine. I couldn't get Orcad SV or Protel SE to download all the
way even with a relatively decent ISP. I got both on CD, but can't
fing Protel. No loss AFAIK.

Just found now. My phone line has some noise. And the culprit was GetRight
"segmented downloading" feature.

Also http://lhw.ufsc.br seems to be not working correctly - and TRACERT utility
times out. Duh!

Probably the Brazilian internet servers are "on vacation".
