Trophy points implementation?

Could anybody tell me, what are trophy points and when will they be properly implemented. As far as I can see no one has any trophy points.

Trophy points didn't exist until the recent upgrade of the forum software. The subject is under discussion.

You guys, Steve, Harald and Arouse1973 all get trophies in my book - the help and guidance has been immeasurable. Also, the resources section is really becoming top notch. Steve's post on heatsink is exceptional - illustrated well. Keep posting, I may one day learn what all these parts do together ;-)

Ian should receive the a world cup in my opinion. Such a quite chap I often wonder what's in it for him. I guess he like watching people help other people.

Haha, well spotted! I've been testing out the trophy points system over the past week, I'll see if I can recalculate the points total now to reset it back to zero until it launches .

edit: Doesn't look like I can do this without deleting the trophies I've already created, so it looks like those points will be there until launch .

The trophy "Super poster" which awards 50 points apparently needs 10,000 posts to achieve however the trophy "Uber poster", the "highest posting category so far" needs only 5000 posts, awarding 100 points. Is this intentional? Is it a typo?

Those are just test trophies so far, we've got a couple of hurdles before we can implement them - so it will be fixed before launch .
