tantalum capacitors have the same problem as electrolytic capacitors since they have defects and depolarize when they are stored for a long time unused?

I think you @johnmullins should contact @gamer87 . Together you two can save and store safely old Gaming devices.

1. You can’t stop old plastic becoming brittle or yellowing.
2. You can’t stop batteries dieing over time.
3. Electrolytic capacitors will eventually dry out and fail.
4. Some rubber and plastic will break down and become sticky.
5. Eventually, you, me and everybody else on the planet will die too.

And a bonus fact for new parents, the naughty step does not work!.
