RFID system design

halo all
we are designing an RFID system (reader and tags) and i need some help
we choosed the 13.56MHz for our application (Library management system) but i dont know where to start in the reader's design; also is possible to generate this 13.56 from the microcontroller or i need to use an external oscillator?
