Love stuff like this, "old electronics". Thing of beauty.
Not a tear down as such, but photos of the internals, with some of the assembly taken apart to better show the electronics.

Circa 1968 . . . .with the toroid used being the key.
I just LOVED to see that bi-directional servo motor drive that series gear train up-and-down in response to the different altitudes . . . .ESPECIALLY on hard dive simulations.
