I have a broken QD relay for a 3HP Franklin Submersibe pump. The QD relay is part of the Control Box.

At the local shops I have been able to find replacement control boxes for sale. But I don't need to change the whole control box, just the QD relay and the shops are not offering individual QD relays. Can I buy an equivalent part a general electrical/electronics store that will still do the job?
Maybe I can just buy a reed switch and a triac? and what model/rating would those components be?
