I am waiting for the tinning material to arrive . More pictures will follow.just need to tin it now ;-)
I know.Don't use sandpaper - I have found that it scores too deeply
Its wet sandpaper, typically black in color and has very fine grit - 400 to 1000 grit is common and is used often for rubbing down finishes in woodworking as well as in auto body work. I still don't use it for pcb's because we exert uneven pressure when sanding by hand and cut through too deeply in spots. Even when using a sanding block, I have found the edges end up getting knocked down first while the center needs more work. Steel wool for me only.I know.
The one i use is not simple sandpaper. It is special for use with metal and i work it with soap water. I dont know how you call it in english.
I will try steel wool next time, Thanks.
