HT echoing too much

Looking for some suggestions here. I recently installed a new bay window from a place near Toronto. After that, I started noticing my home theatre started sounding weird than usual. It has started a bit of echoing too.I doubt whether the sound change occurs due to new window shape. Does anyone know the reason behind this? Does the shape of the window make any difference in sound?

The shape of the windows is as important as the colour of the curtains.

And... I removed the spam.

Yes - any change in physical properties of a room will affect the acoustics but quite subtly to most ears. Depends on how MUCH change there has been.

The curve of the bay may also deliver a 'focal point' to the sound.

I agree. The new window is causing the echo by allowing sound waves to bounce all around.
You can buy or make baffles, or acoustic panels to absorb these errant sound waves.

Its just a box like a picture frame covered with sound absorbing material.
Honestly, they can look ugly, but they do their job when placed properly on the wall.

Yes the shape matters, and/or if what you formerly had, had curtains over it. You could get some thick curtains and draw them across the window when using the HT, and/or try orienting the speakers differently.
