dc 12v 2amp

hello to all
I have one device thats power input is DC 12 v and 2amp but i have in my car DC 12v and 60 amp round about. can i use this device in my car.

Be careful.

The device will only take up to 2A, the car can supply much more than this so it is well up to the job.

The car supply is likely to be dirty with considerable voltage variations. Your device must be able to cope with these. You must connect the supply the right way round or it could be very expensive.

A source of 60A can produce a fire in double quick time. You need a 2A fuse to protect the connecting wire.

it means i can use source by using fuse only.
