Best connection for raspberry pi B?

My laptop doesn't have a hdmi socket, so how is best to connect my raspberry pi b? Hdmi-usb? Hdmi-Ethernet? Usb-usb? Or just plain Ethernet-ethernet?

what are you trying to connect your raspberry pi to? your laptop?

if you are trying to use your laptop as a monitor, to my knowledge you cant. you can use a normal monitor or your tv and that will work.

no the keyboard doesn't have to be bluetooth. because you have the b model which only has 2 usb ports you can have a mouse and a keyboard and Ethernet if you want to use the internet. if you want a wireless usb dongle then you can either get a integrated mouse and keyboard thing or just get a USB hub.
