Hi guys, I'm new to all of this so bear with me
. I am looking to add IR control to a USB switch I have by way of GPIO pins on a Raspberry Pi. I am fine with the IR/GPIO side, what I need help with is selecting the right components to do the switching.
My USB switch is entirely mechanical and closes all four wires of the USB to a common output one at a time. So my plan is to remove the mechanical switch entirely and bridge the contacts with ??? so that I can close it with the 3.3V from the GPIOs.
Any advice??
