12v timed circuit ideas???

I'm working on the fuel pump circuit of my rvs generator. I need the power coming to the 12v fuel pump to energize briefly about every 20-30 secs does anyone know of a simple way to achieve this any help much appreciated

Use a 555 timer IC (Google for circuits) and a power MOSFET to drive the pump. Do not use a mechanical relay, it will wear out rather rapidly at that rate.
