Marine Beacon schematics for project

I need to build an emergency beacon so If I sink, someone will come and get me, and frankly I can't afford to sink! So maybe I should build one? I have to agree that this is a professional project that should probably be left to engineers and tech savy hackers, but I can't resist my little electroinics workstation calling me "beep beep - I am al ready to go--- beep beep" and so, that beacon could be doing some work huh!??!
I am getting my arduino ready and trying to build a sketch that taps out an SSO, and even after about an hour the battery is going to be really taxed... needs to be a solar powered capacitor circuit...
and the light ... well the light... should be optional.

Did you mean SSO “a single sign on”?.
Or SOS?. Believed to mean “save our ships” or “soul”?.

A SOS on morse is : dot dot dot dash dash dash dot dot dot
A dot is 1 time unit.
A dash is 3 time units.
The time between dots is also 1 time unit.
The time between two signs is 3 time units.

They are not cheap, but if you want a reliable emergency beacon, bite the bullet and buy a good EPIRB.
