Wireless optical mouse problems

Hi Guys,
I have a Wireless optical mouse from from A4 Tech.

I had bought it few months back and was working fine till now. The problem
is when the battery is on, the LED comes on for a while then dies of slowly
and back on again agter a few secs. It does this continuosly.

Anybody have any idea why and what I cn look into to repair that. A
Achematic will be helpful.

I don't know if you have checked this yet, but it is the obvious solution.
Have you checked the battery if it is charged, or tried replacing it?

yes the batteries are fully charged and I also used fresh pair of batteries
to test it.
