optical wireless communication

Hi, I would like to get data from a computer through the rj45 port in order to modulate a laser/led and implement an optical wireless comm. system. what is the best way of getting the signal from the rj45 port to modulate a laser/how would you implement it?

hi, welcome

the RJ45 port is a network port, so you would need a network to laser interface/adaptor
there is likely to be something available for doing a optical fibre link .... do some googling
