There are a lot of very inexpensive wireless 2.4 GHz
transmitter/receiver pairs on eBay - for instance, look at this item:

or other similar items by "ussentry" or "cooleyes". Besides the fact
that shipping and insurance is almost as much as the items themselves
(at least in the case of ussentry), does anyone know anything about
these devices? How can they be so inexpensive? It you check "completed
items" and search eBay, a number of them have apparently been sold. I
also notice that the items by cooleyes (such as this):

seem to go for more like $70+
Anyone know what brand these devices are? Their real power outputs (I
see mutliple models claiming different output levels)? Are they any
good at all?
