20 is usually 800mA and 25 is 1000mA , so my guess is a little over 800mA.
Does that sound about right??

The problem is that I haven't the slightest idea.
I don't have the
schematics, neither have I the maximum current
consumption spec.
It is an Apple Newton 2100 MessagePad, a handheld
computer that was
built around 1997 / 1998.

Well, looking at the other components in the same line and theis maximum
power handling capacity, I'd say that should be close. I would try a 1 amp
fuse. It's possible that this is a 2,1 A fuse also, after seeing a picture
of it.
