When I had this problem I ordered a transformer from manufacturer's distributor (and repair place) in the destination country) and exchanged it.
Optional: Order a mains cable that fits the outlets at the destination.
At the same time you can ask supplier whether you need to exchange any other component (besides the fuse value) - I am referring to the capacitor mentioned in this thread.
You may find 230/115 vac transformers with cable and sockets at your destination, these won't add weight to your flight luggage, may be you can rent one.
Ask the expatriate community of the country.

That won't work in this case because (it appears) there is a transformer AND a switching power supply. Increasing the rated voltage of the capacitor in the switching supply won't work; the primary side circuitry will all be designed to run from 110V and will most likely pop its clogs if driven from 220VAC.

Whether an audio amp uses switching p/s I don't know. I do know that feeding my amp from a (switching) convertor 12vdc to ___ ac will introduce so much noise the solution is unusable.
I would rely on the answer from Manufacturer's distributor / repair service

The model number of my Y. amplifier is MS60S, the part number of the 220/240 vac transformer I took out is XHO37, AO, JA 05B SMD 29.
Whether it fits inquirer's unit I do not know and do not plan to spend time on. The part is in proper condition, located in MX and available for u$50 packed for shipping. There are Fedex, UPS, DHL, and postal services available.Packed weight is <2 kg.

Unless you are using this in a large performance hall, or have the worlds most inefficient speakers, you are likely to damage your ears before your receiver overheats.
