Using PWM to regulate power dissipation

To be honest, i don't really know how to watch it in the frequency domain. Can i do this with an ossiloscope? Or should i use the program that you suggested in the other post? About the generator, i can't acces it right now so i can't give anymore information about it. Next week i'll return to ESAT (the lab where i perform the tests and then i can investigate it. Thanks anyway for the help so far! I'll keep you up to date next week

Some scops can do an FFT on the signal,
but not the one you are using (Tek 2430A).

Yes,use the software in the thread.
Hooking up to a PC audio card can be done with the Tek scop output signal(on the rear panel).
How are you actually measuring the current,a current probe?

To answer the question about the village consumption.
It depends very much on the ratio of their consumption to the Generator power capability .
And the type of lighting they may use LED/CFL

I need them to level everything out otherwise i draw a current like this:View attachment 26067
ps: sorry for the late reply i forgot your post

When you do check that generator again do this:
Disconnect all loads to it (capacitor included).
Measure it with no load .
Then use a pure ohmic load and measure again.

Find out what is the power capability of the generator.
Find out if it has any voltage stabilization circuits and what they are.
