Use for Mini EPIRB?

L

Len Krauss

Is there any use for a Class B Mini EPIRB in the USA or elsewhere? It is ACR
Product # 2763 -- 121.5MHz (civilian) 243.0 MHz (military) -- in working
order, like new condition. Is it of value for parts or trade-in?
Thanks.

Your life isn't worth it.

Get a 406 Mhz EPIRB with built-in GPS....for the childrens' sake....please.

Hey

We use a modified Sat2 for training, but it transmit on 121.375Mhz (the
trainning freq in France). If it's doable on yours we might be interested.

try advertising on canoeing/kayaking groups or mountaineering groups... i
know a lot of kayakers carry the small 121/243 epirbs as do some
climbers/hikers because they are so small and light.

Thanks Shaun. Any idea of what $ to ask? Can you cite any specific groups?
Those are activities about which I know nothing.
