Turning a built-in webcam into a USB one

I was wondering if this project is at all plausible. I dissected my Acer Aspire One netbook and took out the built-in webcam in hopes to connect it to a USB plug. I don't need any info on drivers or anything, but I'm a bit lost with the pins.

You need to identify the pin out of the module, either by tracing back the pins to a point where you can identify what it is, or finding a schematic for that computer... Once you do that you can do the plug hook up...

You need to find +5, GND, Data+ and Data-

If I was to make a guess, I would say that changes are real good this is the same pinout across most if not all internal webcam modules...
