Triac Ramp Up & Down Circuit

Need help designing a circuit that will automatically ramp up/down a triac based on input voltage change to a triac trigger pin. See input voltage and output voltage plots.

This will be used to control a triac for a motor. Would like to have a soft start (ramp up) on initial startup and the ability to ramp it down to say half speed by changing the triac's trigger voltage.

Any ideas?

This is usually achieved by pulse modulation of the gate. Google ''slow start" circuits.
