thermopile

For what application do you need this thermopile? the requirement what you have mentioned is what a temperature sensor does...

hi
i have chose that ZTP135SR..to sense the temperature..i have gone through the data sheet...its quit confusing for me to built a circuit
i want to clarify following doubts

1.what is the purpose of thermistor in that circuit?
2.in data sheet it has specified that it is used to compensate the ambient temperature of the thermopile...
if is it so how the thermistor can compensate the ambient temperature?
3.and finally where and how can we measure the output voltage in ZTP-135SR
from thermistor or thermopile?
4.it will be in some millivolts...after that we have to build the signal conditioning unit right?
can anyone clarify my doubts?

thanks in advance...

What circuit?
the output voltage of thermopile should be given to ADC...for that the output should be amplified...
so i don t know how to design the circuit using thermopile...amplifier section k for me..using opamp i can do that one..
but i don t have the idea where can i took the output from thermopile..its quit confusing for me

hi..
i have collected the following data from ztp135sr datasheet
for 25 degree the output will be 0.156mV(approximately)
for 80 degree the output will be 10.56mV(approximately)
if i want to produce 0 to 5 v respectively for 30 degree to 60 degree what are the steps should i follow?
0 to 5 v should be given in to ADC..
this ZTP135SR consists thermister which will use for temperature compensation.i have to consider that one too..
can any one suggest me the things which i have to follow to build the signal conditioning unit for thermopile

thanks in advance....
