TECHNICS RS-DC10 DCC TAPE DECK. NO PLAYBACK

I did some testing tonight. By pressing "STOP" and "PLAY" while powering the unit up, system goes into a SELF TEST MODE. When I accessed ALL ERROR MODE, I got all "FFFFFFFF". The manual says to clean the head, did that once again, no luck! There are some other tests, but requires a Dual Trace Occilloscope. Don't have one. This is going beyond my level of knowledge. Frustrating!

Update,
I removed the Audio PCB and examined it with a powerful eye loupe and spotted a few questionable solder connection's. Corrected that. Ordered a couple of smd caps. Waiting for them to arrive. To be continued...
