Replacement Panel for Wickes/Super Rascal 29 system

My Wickes/Super Rascal 29 system finally appears to be giving up the
ghost after over 10 years. The tamper light is flashing and will not
reset, whatever I try to do. I have followed the manual instructions
but to no avail. And just to make matters worse, I may have
accidentally disposed of the manual (damn you cursed spring cleans!!)
since my last attempt.

I believe it may be time to replace the system, although I do not
fancy replacing all the sensors/alarm box etc (I am the Mr Bean of
DIY).

Is it possible simply to replace the front panel box and still use the
current sensors, and if so, what panel would you recommend? Also, for
a complete novice at electrics, how easy is this to set up?

Hi Mark,

Most panels will do the job as far as the detectors are concerned but I
would guess if the system is 10 Years +, the problem would probably be
either the battery or bell box outside. I would advise you change both
anyway, whether you need to replace the main panel or not. Good luck with
