Hello,
I am working on a simulation of an exponential converter that involves the use of BJT's
in real life the thermal voltage VT changes with temperature. It appears that the multisim environment is set to 27C by default but what I realy need to know is:
Does multisim simulate changes in the BJT temperature and therefore VT as Vbe/Ib/Ic is varied?
Or does it lock the BJT at 27C no matter what?
This is something I cannot find an answer to on the internet. I realy want to know if my results are usable to start making the circuit or if I have to research compensation resistors and the like.
The results I have are worth working from but I have no idea if they are totally wrong.
If you know the answer to this ill be very very grateful. Thanks
