Herky-Jerky Braun MultiQuick 7

My Braun Multiquick 7 has gone herky jerky. It has a very difficult time smoothly changing speeds. It will also change speed without warning. Bad. I need to open it without destroying it. Thx, M

Check this video. It is in German but you may be able to follow along the video only. At around 0:30 it is shown how to open the case. You may try the automatically translated subtitles if that helps.

Thanks Harald! I had watched that video previously, but did not realize that I could set youtube to translate it. I had assumed that maybe my brushes were going bad, but now that I've seen the translated version of the video, I'm going to start with that potentiometer under the cap. k
