Q: 5V<->12V level conversion

Hi all!

I've uploaded a couple of images of my schematic in which a TTL high and low
(5v and GND) is injected into the circuit.

The files are in

and are called

5V connected to TTL Tx.jpg
5V disconnected from TTL Tx.jpg

The multimeter reading is taken from the K line.

Any ideas how this works?

Not a fucking clue mate. Went and had a look. Don't know what your doing,
don't know if I care. Are you the bloke who wanted to know how someone elses
circuit that did something in your car worked?
