Problem with generator starting

I imported 40KW Yuchai diesel generator with ATS from China one month ago. But now the genset cannot start normally. What is wrong with it? Before starting, what should I check? Someone can tell me the detailed step to start the engine? One more thing is that i CANNOT change the switch to auto starting. Should I check the wiring diagram of the control panel? Urgent help.

Thank u. I am not good at repairing. I find someone technician to help me start the engine. Runs normally now.
