I am unable to figure out here if the PNP transistor in this circuit acts as switch or amplifier? Can anyone please help me figure out how much is the output voltage, Vout in this circuit? Thanks!
Without initial conditions it is impossible to know what's going on.
So just looking at your schematic what is the voltage at the base of the transistor?
