Peltier device for cooling beer keg

Hi

I'm planing on building a peltier device to cool down a beer keg. I got two peltier devices, a 12v 10A DC power supply, two heatsinks and two 12v 0.16A fans. My question is, do I need some sort of Circuit to make it function well or can i just connect them in parallel and it will work?

10A might not be enough for both of them since they are claimed to use up to 72W which is 6A each.

Also, I hate to tell you this, but two of those are unlikely to cool a keg of beer or even keep it cold.

I have a old computer PSU i can use instead.

Whan about a small 2- 3 gallon keg? I'm also planing on isolating around it.

I don't know exactly how much cooling you will get, but my gut feeling is that you will be disappointed.

Peltier devices are incredibly inefficient, and the ratings on DX from 50 to 72W is quite the range...
You could end up with anywhere from a 100W to a 144W requirement. (8 - 12Amp)
You will also need to be able to move heat away from the hot side, because they will create a temperature difference. If the hot side is too hot, the inside will be warmer than expected.

Do like the bloke in NZ.
Use the physics associated with rapid use of LPG which made the LPG bottle extremely cold which cooled the beer.
Trouble was, he did it in his basement and the LPG drove a gas turbine engine which generated so much heat he had to drink all the beer to cool off.
