Outdoor Christmas lights faulty

Hi
I have outdoor Christmas lights up and running however recently some of the led lights are dim all next to each other about 15 of them.
I have found the faulty one I think which when I fiddle with it sometimes they work sometimes not.
If I cut the connected wires (not the link) in the faulty led light and replace with a connector block will that work ??

Could you post a picture of the point where the connection is bad?
It could be corrosion due to moist.

I agree with @bertus . Corrosion due to moisture ingress.
A blown LED wont conduct when fiddled with, but a bad connection will.
Also, a blown series LED wont dim the rest of the string. The whole series string will be OFF.
