Need advice on UK DIY wireless alarm choice

A

Al

Hi,
I'm planning to fit a wireless alarm at my parent's house. I'll be
fitting several door sensors, aswell as around 3 PIR detectors.

Some key requirements:
Need to be able to set chime zones when doors are opened.
The main alarm box needs to be kept out of site (upstairs) so a remote door entry keypad is rquired.
A bell box is required with strobe. I prefer to have this wired for mains (with battery backup).
I'd like the option of fitting a caller module (telephone). At the moment it's not essential. If the unit came with one built in, then that would be okay.
The alarm could be enabled in the evening only monitoring the entry/exit zones.

Can you help recommend on to me? I already have a Visonic at home.
However, the cost of that is too much. Can I get a system all in for
around £250?

Finally - a dealer recommendation would be of value.

Thanks,

Al.

I use ademco normally, but that would be more expensive than you want.
Try Napco or Caddx. Not sure where in the UK you can get them from.
Sure someone will reply.

Try 'City Electrical' for a Scantronic 500r. Doesn't have a built in digital
communicator but you can connect a voice dialler at a later date if you
want.
