Missing battery connection on Magnetic Exercise Bike

Hello,

I got a brand new Celsius C2 Magnetic Exercise bike for free and found out that there seems to be a manufacturing fault with the electronic display - in that it has the battery slot but no battery connections to the circuitry. I haven't been able to find a replacement display connection so want to try and make this work.

I don't have any experience in circuitry, but can't imagine this would be toooo hard.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It fits AAA batteries, pictures attached.

you said that these item is brand new! you may contact the sales person for warranty and other info.

I got it for free as the shop selling it was dumping it - so there's no warranty, and I don't think the company sells the display part itself.

have you seen those 4 strand of wire with color yellow, white, red, and black with pcb label as- EPW/ V / PUL / G- perhaps that is the power supply lines, G= gound or negative of the battery and V= positive of the battery, i think you need 3 pcs. AAA size battery connected in series= 3 volts DC////1.5 volts each

yes youve got it right, but do not be dissapointed if it will not work, probably there was another deffects in that unit, however let us see the results after you made it.

The thingy with the spring and the flat contact, joined together with a wire, is used on one end to tie the two AA cells in series. A similar thingy, without a wire joining the spring and the flat contact, is needed at the opposite end to make contact with the + terminal of one AA cell using the flat contact, and to make contact with the - terminal of the other AA cell using the spring contact. The spring contact always goes to the - terminal of the AA cell. The flat terminal always goes to the + terminal of the AA cell.
