looking for faulty parts on a JM concept temp indicator .

Hi everybody .

Today i started looking at a temperature digital indicator .JM concept AK 9200 N .
I found a bad electrolytic capacitor rated at 100 uF/35V at 105 C° .

I have a similar working capacitor ( the black one on the card )but the max temp is 85 C° only , so i don't know if its ok to replace with it that ?
I also need some little help on checking a little transformer , because i don't have the datasheet for it .
The reason why i want to check the transformer is that it may be causing the cap to get puffy , or maybe other things .

As far as I understand it you should always replace caps with the same temp rating. They are rated for that temp for a reason. It will work. But for how long is the question. As for your other problem I can't help you there. Sorry.
