Hello all
Not typically a forum I'd usually frequent but since I am interested in some electronics DIY repair I thought I would drop in to find out if I could obtain any assistance.
I have (had) a GVA branded LCD TV hanging in my computer workshop for a good while serving job information to me. At some point in the past however, I plugged a faulty ATX PSU into the same circuit as the TV and after a loudish pop (from the PSU), the TV was dead.
I have only recently disassembled the TV to find where power is plugged in and have discovered a circuit board as attached. Reading information on the board, there is mention of a "fuse" which has caught my attention. It needs to be said that even as a computer repairer I have the most rudimentary knowledge of electronics so I'm not sure what to look for and even if I have a chance to repair this problem.
So the question is, which component is the fuse? More information happily offered if required.
Thank you, Anfo.
