Large LCD digits

Does anyone know where I can get some large LCD, or similar, digits. I want to use them in a large clock type application and dont want to use LED 7 segment digits because they will use to much power.

Im not sure if LCD is the correct thing to use. It just needs to be 2 tone type that can display numbers or whatever.

What size exactly and how many digits (6 ... like in HH:MM:SS) ?

I think LCD might use less power, but you need a backlight to see in the dark, so I'm not sure if it ends up being less or not.

LED is self illuminating of course.

Whether it's battery or wall AC powered might play a part in your decision.

I want 3 digits so I can have a count down timer. The display is going to be used outside. I want it to be battery operated so power consumption is important.

Forgot to say size. Anything between 100mm and 200mm high would suite i think.

I have found something similar to what I want. I only need three digits though. Anyone have any ideas where I can get them? Im stumped and running out of time.
