[1] I think that means you have a lot of Italian relatives.

Wrong root:

pol·li·wog also pol·ly·wog Pronunciation (pl-wg, -wôg)
n.
See tadpole.
[Variant of polliwig, from Middle English polwigle : pol, head; see poll
+ wiglen, to wiggle; see wiggle.]

Since you always can see the bright side, I assume you mean polyandry :)

I have one younger brother who has been married something like eight
times, and he has been sooooo taken to the cleaners with $100k/month
support payments. Anyone who gets married these days is a fool.

If you add "unhappy" marriages into the statistic then you end up with
nearly 100% failure rate from what I've seen.

Don't know where your getting your statistics....

"Since every divorce involves two people, the percentage becomes
somewhat more meaningful if you double it. E.g., 0.74% of the entire
population gets divorced every year."

Note the chart showing DECREASING divorce rates since 1992.

I like using LVDS receivers as comparators. They're cheap, have
infinite Zin, brutal cmos outputs, and are blindingly fast.

Or how about using current-steering diodes into an opamp that stays
linear? That's more like 4 additional parts.

C'MON! SHOW US A 324 BASED COMPARATOR WITH 250NS RESPONSE TIME!!!

Pretty please, Mary - smooch smooch :))

They say "* A rate per married people, instead of per straight
population, would be even more helpful, but we do not know of a
consistent source for that number. If you do, please tell us. "

The only stats I ever listen to are from that Christian network, TBN,
which I watch when in the mood for something fantasy-like.

A lot more. Married people are healthier, happier, less likely to get
depressed, have higher incomes, live longer, have more sex and less
STDs, and get to spend more time with their kids.

Eat a lot better, too, I bet.
