i need to find those variable capacitor

hello
i buy allmost all thing needed, for buil you own radio circuits 2013,
but in electronics shop he told me , there are old, you can find it only in old radio
he cant help, those components dont sell anymore,

maybe somebody can help me how to find online those component

VC1: two-gang variable capacitor: 140pF, 60F = 2
VC1: 140pF RF and 60pF oscillator = 2
VC1: variable capacitor twin gang 270pF and 270pF = 2
VCI: TWO SECTION VARIABLE CAPACITOR 140pF ,60pF = 2

What country? You should be able to find suppliers of HAM RADIO parts or even find a group of hobbyists that could supply them from their 'scrap' boxes.

Ebay is also a good source for them.

Such parts are still available new (old stock in some cases) but they aren't cheap

https://www.rfparts.com/capacitors.html

In many cases you can use 'near enough' values and adjust the inductances to compensate.

hello two ganga find, but the other one can you help me to find, please, advice, i am in belgium

If you are having trouble finding the 140+60pF variable then get a 2-gang 140pF and remove some of the plates from one of the gangs. This will reduce the capacitance proportionally.

i.e. remove HALF of the plates from one gang and it will reduce to around 70pF - near enough for your needs.

OH ! . . . . . het is in mijn thuisland. . . .

https://www.benl.ebay.be/sch/i.html...&_nkw=Ham+Radio++variable+capacitors&_sacat=0

Remove HALF of the plates from one gang and it will reduce to around 70pF - near enough for your needs.

Remove ALTERNATE INNER plates from one ROTOR gang and it will reduce to around 70pF - near enough for your needs. . . . . . . AND . . . . . . . . maintain a better mechanical integrity of the rotor gang.
AND shoot for having MORE than half of your needed maximum capacitance.

Then, you can use a . . . series inserted . . . variable TRIMMER capacitor of twice the maximum capacitance needed, . . .eg 150 pf . . . to be used to PRECISELY trim in the max capacitance produced by the air variable capacitor, be it 60 or 65 or 70 or 75 or 80 pf.

(You only need to make this mechanical mistake once . . .in learning that STATOR plate are all but impossible to remove, and that removing ROTOR plates side by side, leaves it quite mechanically flimsy. )
