How to use a battery to kill effectively ?

S

Skybuck Flying

Ok,

The current of a battery seems to be enough to killllll.

Suppose one is at war, you are captured, somehow you find a fully charged 9+
volt battery.

You are being torture non stop and you decide to try and make a flee
attempt.

But you need to incapasitate or kill a guard to successfull escape.

Let your imagination run willld :)

How to best construct a weapon with the battery and apply/use it ?

Reading what I have read so far it would require some pins connect to the
battery both ends.

Then both pins would need to be wet ? or stuck into the guards' body ?

Would sticking it into his hand be enough ? or maybe the neck ? or if he
chest is expose maybe his chest ;)

Ohhhh yeah baby.

What a nice weapon for doom hehehe.

Bye,
Skybuck ;)

So it seems pretty well established that you are a TROLL (or perhaps
just an idiot.) Either way, let me suggest that you might want to FOD.

Lol,

General Skybuck says: "Pay attention BOY !!!!!!!!"

This is your chance to learrrrrnnnn something.

Which might come in handy during time of global insane, mad, dirty, filthy,
crazy, mothafucking waaaarrsss :):):):):):):)

Ahh, but you are asking inane questions that matter to nobody but nerds
who can find these subtleties entertaining. I don't think I need to
learrrrrnnnn anything that your stupid questions are stimulating.

In a time of global insane, mad, dirty, filthy, crazy whatever, I'd like
to see your mothafucking aarrsss gone.

You B A Troll

Think slingshot, with battery as projectile.

Hmm. I was thinking more like a 12V car battery. Drop it on someone.

You think too small! Use a forklift or a locomotive battery. ;-)

First, stab the guard with a knife or shank. Do this once on the left side
of the chest and once on the right side of the chest. Then solder some
wires onto the battery terminals and shove the wires into the stab wounds.
For example, you could put the positive wire on the right side, and the
negative on the left. Or the other way around. I don't think polarity
matters.

I believe I have given you an answer as serious as your question was in
the first place. ;-)

This is an easy one - just get some duct tape and use it to tie the battery
onto a brick that you have dislodged from the wall of your cell - then hit the
guard on the head with the brick

Ok,

But what if you are weak, and tortured and underfed...

You might not have enough strength to throw anything :)

So the battery option seems kinda nice =D

Bye,
Skybuck.

How are you going to hide that, till the time is right ?

Don't think big, but small and sneaky in this case :D

If you are wearing braces, you could use the elastic to make a slingshot, using
the battery as a projectile - get that guard right between the eyes and whammo

Attack fro a distance. Launch the battery with a trebuchet.

Go find some wire and make a transformer and make a taser... step up
from 9V to 50KV

Certainly you're not suggesting using a 9V battery this way -- you'd never
get enough current to harm a flea ... well, maybe a flea, but probably not a
human.

OK, I'll play along. How much current do I need? How much voltage? 9V
..1A in, we could get maybe 900V and 1mA or 9KV and 100uA. You grab that
and see if it tingles.

Back in the Stone Ages (~1967) I was working with image-intensifying vacuum
tubes and one setup had a 30KV Spellman bench supply, maybe a milliampere or
so. I took a few shocks from that, including one from the eyepiece of the
microscope I was using to examine the image right to my eyebrow -- knocked
me across the room, but I'm still here to tell about it. The amount of
current needed to kill varies widely with the path the current takes thru
the body. Naturally it takes less if it enters near the heart than if it's
in the legs. I'm sure there's plenty of information on shock hazard limits
on the web.

I stuck my right little finger into one of the final tanks of an ARC-51 UHF
radio while bracing my hand to blade-track-tune the adjacent tank. About
600 Volts at about 400 MHz. Nice lttle black hole right through my finger
and fingernail. Still typing with that finger.
