Horrible TV Audio and Video Lately

Reporters and government people are frequently at home lately and are shown on TV with the audio
sounding awful (low frequencies are frequently missing) and with poor lip-sync to the video.
The video is chopped up or frequently freezes.

Is it a SKYPE program that causes these problems?
Is there a program without these problems?

I have noticed the same. Especially when in conference video calls.
Most people here in the UK are using ZOOM now. Skype has pretty much vanished.
It is just an artifact of the individuals internet stream and depends where they are streaming from. The audio is probably their laptop internal mic as well. Roll on a normal life once again!

The voices fade from almost normal to sounding like a chipmunk with no low frequencies then fading back to almost normal and back to chipmunk while they are talking.
My video phone calls on Facebook Messenger dont doo dat.

Is there a program without these problems?

Yeah, it's called sufficient bandwidth, a good microphone and preferably a good camera too.
