Hopefully this has a simple answer. Concerning grounding Boost converters.

Hello all.

Hopefully this has a simple answer. I have 1 buck boost converter, (lct3780) Output 33v @10A, the other one is a 1500w boost converter.

I plan on only running 1 converter at a time

I am trying to find out if I can have a common ground on the DC- output on both converters with 1 wire

Essentially 1 wire going from the DC- on the 1500w to the DC- on the Ltc 3780 to the one stud for the Power output (where the banana plug gets connected.

Or does each converter need a designated ground wire to a designated power stud?

My concern is that because each converter is at a different voltage that the higher voltage will feedback( or try to feedback) to the converter with lower voltage even with one or the other is powered down.

Maybe, depending on many details about the source to each converter, part numbers for both converter chips, the nature of the loads, and a connection drawing.
