help wiring DPDT relay

Hi, new here and would be glad of some help please!

I am trying to produce the following circuit, which I have attached.

I bought a DPDT relay which has more pins than I need, but could someone please tell me which pins go where for the circuit? The wiring diagram for the relay is below.

My electronics knowledge is somewhat limited, I am ok with the rest of it but it's just this that has thrown me!

I would suggest the two pins connected directly to "PIN A" and "PIN E" are pins 1 and 16.

The two connections to the normally open contacts could be 4 and 8

Relay

Hi jwalker.
Use a meters continuity tester to be sure, but i think power 12 volts to 1 and 16 is the relay coil, and your diagram looks like single pole single throw ( SPST ) and you could use pins 4 and 8 or pins 13 and 9 as the switch contacts, not both for your circuit. Use your meter to be sure on the relays pin out, the coil will give a reading in ohms. Dave.
