Have a first generation FireTvStick that entered an infinit loop of optimization: what can I do?

I've already called Amazon for dealing with the situation but after 2 hrs nothing has changed. I want to know if there's the possibility of rescuing the ddvice, somehow! Thanks in advanced!

Other than that you'll find that this issue seems to be not so rare and the usual solution is a replacement of the stick by Amazon.

I remember having asked the Amazon guy what/where it might get me if I connected the unit to a computer for diagnostic purposes and he said the u it was so old that nothing could be done.

Nontheless, I'm wondering if I could delete the Firefox browser from it and free-up some memory that might let it to OPTIMIZE the memory & apps that it so insistingly demand...
