Driver output of SG3524 PWM chip

Hi!

I wish to know about the driver output of SG3524 PWM chip. It seems
that its not compatible with MOSFET and other high-side driver chip.

You're right. It is intended for driving bipolar power stages.
For driving MOSFETs, be it high-side or low-side, connect the
output emitters to ground, tie the collectors to VCC with pull-up
resistors, and add MOSFET driver ICs like ICL 7667, TC 426/7/8,
IR 2111/2117, HIP 408x etc.

I used drivers built of Schottky diodes and BSR-14 (PMOS) or 2907
(NMOS) transistors. They workd very well.

2N 2907? That's a bipolar transistor.

I made discrete driver stages for MOSFETs too, but these ICs are
much more convenient to use... Especially when it comes to bridges
or high-side drivers at higher voltages.

Not suprising, seeing as how when the 3524 IC was developed, power
mosfets were still on the drawing board.

You might consider 'nearly' pin compatible 16 pin devices like the
UC3525A, which appeared in the succeeding decade.
