Hi there,
I'm completely new to this forum and fairly new and inexperienced with electronics. However as part of my job I have to design an circuit. I accidentally got a slide switch with an ON - ON switch operation.
The design works around the current switch but I need it to be an ON - OFF switch operation. This may sound stupid and from what I've gathered it looks like I may be able to just wire it differently to get the right operation.
The switch I'm using has the following specifications (if they help),
12V DC Max
100mA Max
I am using it in a circuit with a battery and DC motor which fall under these specs.
The question I have is as follows,
Is it possible to use this switch for ON - OFF purposes even if it has been specified as ON - ON?
Any help would be appreciated and if there's anymore information on the switch on circuit needed let me know.
